Welcome back!

+1 on XFM, it is pretty much a standard part of the install these days.

We are hopeful for there to be a new version of the game, although things do seem to have gone quiet again since the last couple of demo videos.

Rawbots downloads are available here. As well as the vanilla 0.1.4 install, I would also suggest downloading and installing XFM, which adds several important maths functions, as well as a few quality-of-life features and speedups.

Okay, this is my first time on this specific forum and i have a few questions
first some info
1: i payed for the game when it was still downloadable.
2: i got rid of the game because i was to young to understand
3: after finding out it wasn't in development anymore i was somewhat sad
4: the dropbox downloads on the steam forums is giving me a 404

I have returned, not only to witness the re-birth of a (awesome) game, but also to see if i could reacquire a copy, if at all possible
I want to see this game grow, and id llike to thank the developers perseverance in the struggle with that (insert rude exclamation here) of a CEO who stole your crew.
Thank you for reading this.

The transmission is pretty cool.

Car inspired by Marvin's build.
Plasma piston engine, 2 gears.
Using only 1 cap per cannon felt right to me, probably because of ACL rules, so it is not surprising that engine is weak for its size.

Looks great! It is even unreliable, as the first piston engine should be :)
I like the idea, maybe I'll build another piston engine soon. Currently I have a one cylinder engine that stops after several revolutions.

I think I know what it is, I'll download the map later to check.

I wish I knew how to stop the terrain getting screwed up like that. It only seems to happen on some of the stardust style maps.

Hopefully I've still got the half built version somewhere, as that must have loaded properly.

A while ago i've made a second bot for the loop, using mass driving tech that can stay upside down for an undefined amount of time.
I guess my easy entry of this is already ready

the slinky is a "walker" that can easily do this, doesn't deserve the extreme category imo

Oh and yeah, your track totally is a interplanetary roadway.

sorry for sucking the fun out of everything :p

(actually making a roadway between two or more planets might be cool, might give a sense of how smaller the map is than it looks)

I'd have said everything like that is fair game for this challenege.

Using hooks implies a walker-like design, which won't be trivial, and I expect mass drives would be tricky to control in this application.

BTW, did the map load correctly? I've just tried to open it again and rawbots has decided that the ramp is now off in space in two pieces somewhere between the planets.
