I'm not sure about uploading a new screenshot every day, but I'll share a few of the more interesting ones that have accumulated over the years.

Here's a miniature replica of the curiosity rover:

I see your single toroidal wheel, and raise you 4 spherical wheels.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. It does work, and will run branched code as you can see in the blueprint, but it runs pretty slowly. IIRC, the low speed is the result of changes rippling though the address decoder/program memory on the left.

The instruction set is loosely based on the one used in the PIC microcontrollers. It's fairly simple, but you have to write the code by hand then enter it into the memory. To make it more useful, the interface between the core and the program memory needs to be made more efficient. Also, depending on the program, you can add some custom ALU functions to give it some degree of hardware acceleration.

I had thought about using the CPU to run a combat bot or handle terrain mapping, but it seemed like it would make thing seven messier and more complicated than they are already.

Oops, been a bit busy recently, so some archive screenshots of some of the arena maps I have made:

Lavafield:

King of the Hill:

Ramp Arena Trio:

Tech Arena Hex (unreleased):

Apart from Tech Arena Hex, all these are available for download in the Autonomous Combat League topic.

Here's something else map related. It's a test track that covers everything from basic movement up to driving on the ceiling.
