Rawbots 0.1.4 XFM (eXtended Functionality Mod) v0.5 Released

XFM v0.4a mod for Rawbots 0.1.4

Installation is simple:
  • Use the included installer to update the game asset archive
  • Copy the included .dll into the Rawbots/rawbots_Data/Managed folder, backing up (or not, your choice) the original Assembly-CSharp.dll
  • Enjoy your (hopefully) enhanced Rawbots experience

General:
-Reduced laser light casting
-Reduced laser minimum length (1 => 0.01)
-More physics engine tuneups

Combat:
-Plasma cannon projectile velocities reworked (~750 at 20 capacitance)
-Continuum, Hypercannon, Hypercube, Hook, Hover, Jet, Hydrojet, Wheel (all types), Foot, Spotlight, Fin, Speaker, Projector, Pointlight, Plasma Cannon, Laser and Camera hitpoints set to 7,500
-Extension Cross, Elbow, Line and Tee hitpoints set to 5,000
-Motor, Elbow and Piston hitpoints set to 25,000 (there is a reason behind this, ask me about it if you are interested)
-Grenade HP set to 7500 (this only lasts until the grenade is detonated, then I'm pretty sure it ends up with 700HP once it is ready to fire again, changing this would be tedious and hard)

Fists: 99,999hp => 50,000hp
Floaters: 1,000hp => 20,000hp
Wheels: (all three types) 1,000hp => 5,000hp
Hooks: 1,000hp => 5,000hp

- Collision damage relative speed threshold increased (only really affects wheels) [40 => 400]
- Camera 'far' and 'size' max values increased [far 200 => 512] [size 100 => 128]
- Hook 'distance' maximum value increased and capped at the new max value [100 => 256]
- Increased the usable area of the VP grid [50 => 256]
- Increased maximum zoom-out on the VP grid [4x greater zoom-out]

Changelog:
  • Hooks can now detect (and attach to) Structures (the large Platform pieces, Pillars and Energy Bridge forcefields.
  • Various physics speedups and (hopefully) improvements.
  • Plasma Cannon/Flux Capacitor rebalance. FC now charges at a flat rate of 2 capacitance/second. PC dps consequently fixed at 800dps. Rationalisation of shoot_force to try and avoid physics issues at high capacitance.
  • Volumetric part hitpoint rebalance (based on 1000hp Continuums)
    • Camera   1500
    • Fist   8000
    • Floater   2000
    • Foot   4000
    • Hook   1500
    • Hydrojet   1500
    • Hyper Cannon   8000
    • Hypercube   8000
    • Jet   1500
    • Plasma Cannon   2000
    • Wheel   4000
    • Wide Wheel   8000
    • Small Wheel   2250
    • All others   1000

To install:
1: Run the .exe as an Administrator to update your resources.assets file, it will need to be pointed to your Rawbots installation directory.
2: Copy the included Assembly-CSharp.dll into the Rawbots/rawbots_Data/managed folder.
Backup your original files as you see fit.
